SS121 Social Education I

This course is designed to provide students with both content knowledge and pedagogical skills in Social Studies. The main focus is on the middle Primary Curriculum where students will identify and organize key concepts, as well as develop skill lines and skill ladders to help them better understand the curriculum. This course will provide a rationale for examining the nature, purpose and process of Social Education, as well as, introduce the students to the study of Sociology focusing on their Identity, Community and Culture.
