CS111 Computer Literacy

This course is designed to develop the basic computer skills required in todays technological world. Students are introduced to operating systems, the internet , and to word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications. Students learn basic computer concepts and terminology and develop competency in accessing,inputting,retrieving,storing and sending information. Among the studied modules are : Concepts of IT, Using computers and managing files, Educational software, Free and open source software. Information and Communication, Internet safety.
